This year’s Robocon Hong Kong Contest drew over 200 students from eight local universities and tertiary institutions to the Park, putting their engineering skills, AI computing and teamwork to a fierce test. Themed “Harvest Day”, this year’s competition takes inspiration from the cultivation of terraced fields in Vietnam. This year’s game rules took it up a notch. With fully automated robots as a requirement, the teams must up their game by integrating multiple AI models on computer vision and machine learning to win the game.
