He allegedly provided financial support to the shooters, instructed them on their "task", and facilitated their travel and accommodation arrangements in Mumbai. Furthermore, it was disclosed that the shooters, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, were recruited by a man named Ankit, who introduced them to the gang. Pal and Gupta, initially provided with money and later weapons, were unaware of the specific target until the weapons were delivered to them at their rented house in Panvel.
