I used a series of Seachem products (Metroplex and Focus being the two others) that included this GarlicGuard. I ended up getting this after trying to mix the other two ingredients with food. It worked well as Focus is a great formula itself to bond the Metroplex to the food. However, the fish let a lot of it sink to the bottom, so I could only hope that the medicine escaped back into the water. At that point I decided it would be important to mix GarlicGuard into the food and medicine. I was happy I was able to find this smaller bottle at a great value on Amazon. I am further grateful that it worked out very well for mixing. I have even used it without the medicine on food and the fish react even more favorably than they do with their "favorite plain" fish food. This is a great additive, for sure. I am glad it is available as it is very important for certain diseases to be treated internally with the fish ingesting the medication. I appreciate the great products that Seachem provides.
