My family and I are here in Istanbul for the next month learning languages, deepening our faith, meeting thousands of wonderful people, and seeing why Istanbul was considered the center of the world for centuries. But one very special place here has absolutely captured my heart and today I cannot wait to tell you all about the beautiful soul known as Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari. He was a very special companion of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. And much to my surprise, he is buried right here in Istanbul. Why?
