The victim, who police said was transported to the hospital in critical condition, was sitting alone in his car off Southeast 162nd Street, several blocks west of Lindbergh High School, around 2 a.m. According to Renton police, the victim was waiting to meet an acquaintance at the location, when a group approached him, held him at gunpoint and demanded he hand everything over.
