This dream trailer was created to entertain the fans and in hopes that it will inspire filmakers to make it a real movie! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Editing Journey: Shang Chi is marvel’s top grossing film and I agree that it deserves all the praise it has received. As an Asian myself I’m happy to see my culture represented in the big screen in the best way possible. Shang Chi 2 is a no brainer, as a matter of fact Marvel has already announced its title to be Shang Chi and the Wreckage of Time. Since we don’t know much about the plot I have some ideas myself. The number one is to crossover Iron Fist tv show with the film. Since I’m a fan of the tv show despite its popularity it was a treat to include the character of Danny Rand here. Fortunately upon researching I manage to collect many fresh scenes of Iron Fist thanks to the amount of fan films available. I wanted his introduction to be epic so I took my time to edit this one. At first I was overwhelmed by the amount of clips that I actually almost could not get it done. It was challenging to create a plot, so I simply went on with it and improvised as a I go on. Finding fresh clips of Wong was challenging, so I simply made his presence using the post credit scene. As a big fan of Jackie Chan I had to make his presence known. I made our main character visit his “home” using the line from Iron Fist “You have not been home in days”. Then someone attacks Shang Chi and he fights. But there was too many, which I made Iron Fist help him out. I made sure to show clip of Shang Chi’s sister to imply that she would be the main villain not Iron Fist. “Working together” voice over I made to bring the idea of Iron First and Shang Chi working together. Then I ended the trailer showing Shang Chi vs Iron Fist.
