| Video Discription | There is no part 1 and there is no finale. This is because Xu Shu only has a single battle to play. He's alive up until the point where Cao Pi takes the throne, as shown in his ending cutscene, but since he's not part of Shu anymore we just don't get to see that. I don't know why they didn't just make him a Wei character at this point but...whatever. Xu Shu is the first cloned character I used. He's a clone of Cao Cao. Their S-strings and charge attacks are exactly the same, but two or three of the special attacks and his musous are different. It hardly matters because every single character plays the same anyways. I had originally planned to do all the side missions for this battle, but after doing one that was right next to Cao Ren's camp I ended up triggering all the dialogue and the music for if you were going to attack him, even though I didn't intend to yet. But I decided to go ahead and do it since he was literally right there anyways. The one side mission I did was to defend catapults. This is utterly pointless because the catapults don't do a damn thing to help fight Cao Ren. Hell, Cao Ren isn't even in a castle or any sort of fortification so it's not like you need them to break down anything. He has some waist-high spike barricades around a field he's just standing in. Man, what a master of defense. I could jump over those in real life. So yeah, the main mission to defeat Cao Ren is to not run into the spikes and just go up and pummel him. Whooptydoo. After a couple of events we get treated to Xu Shu's ending. They even show him in Wei colored clothing. Which just further makes me question WHY we can't do anything with him in Wei... At least in DW8 he may not have been playable on Wei's musou mode but he did a lot and he was cool to have around. Meh, just another let down. I'm done playing this for...I hope forever.
