Have you ever been using the DivvyHQ calendar and thought to yourself, "I wish I could just add a quick reminder on the calendar for myself or my team." It could be something like an upcoming holiday, or an important meeting, or maybe you're just going to be out of office sometime next week, and thus, you don't want anyone assigning you content projects that day! Well, your wish is our command. Introducing DivvyHQ Reminders, a simple calendar entry that can be used to remind you or your team about pretty much anything. To add a reminder on your DivvyHQ calendar, start by going to the day you'd like the reminder to start. Now notice that a new +Reminder link is displayed when I move my cursor into the top right corner of the cell. With Halloween coming up next week, let's use that as our example. I'll plug in my title, set my dates, you can choose to make this reminder public or private, and pick a color. Note that if you toggle the "Make Public" setting off, the reminder will only be visible to you. Now I'll hit save and my Halloween reminder is visible to my entire team. It's super simple, just like we like it, and I'm sure you'll find multiple uses for it. Before I go, let me point out two more quick things. Once you create a reminder, you'll be the only one that can edit it or delete it, so just keep that in mind. Lastly, with the addition of this new reminders feature, you may need to adjust your calendar filters so that these reminders actually show up. Head up to the "Items to Display" filter and make sure to check the Reminders checkbox and then save your filter settings. If you think you might be using these reminders right away, you may want to forward this video on to your team so they can adjust their filters as well.
