When he has finally managed to get rid of him, Emilie escapes with her bodyguard Hock (Jacky Ido), not before having punched Snow, and they hide in a secure room. Shaw (Lennie James from The Walking Dead) calls Snow to ask him to get Emilie out of this room because the oxygen level inside is dangerously decreasing. In the future, Snow (Guy Pearce from Memento and The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert), a former CIA agent, is suspected of having killed a soldier. He is to be incarcerated at MS-one Penitentiary, an orbital station where prisoners are plunged into artificial sleep. The daughter of the American president, Emilie Warnock (Maggie Grace from Lost and Taken) is visiting MS-one when an incident provokes the awakening and mutiny of all the prisoners, 500 particularly dangerous criminals. The young woman, who had come on a humanitarian mission, finds herself hostage of the prisoners. Mandated by the President himself, Snow is then sent on site to try to save her.
