Jarvis Anderson of Iglu & Hartly takes us on a summer night out in pursuit of a reckless lover amongst a beautiful blitz of 80’s inspired guitars, huge synths, and even bigger vocals. Consider yourself warned upon the pounding of huge drums before each chorus with Jarvis declaring “There’s no stopping us let’s make this dangerous”. Equal parts exhilarating and undeniably musical, Swayze is an alt pop banger that could give Walk the Moon's ‘Shut up and Dance’ a run for its money. “While writing this song I imagined a femme fatale whose wild spirit could only be matched by a man like one of Swayze’s iconic characters.” Jarvis explains. “I wanna be your Swayze, you could be my baby” Iglu & Hartly’s Swayze, takes no prisoners and is unabashedly equal parts nostalgia and modern pop-rock belter. In true Iglu & Hartly fashion the song plays with a variety of vocal styles, 80’s inspired synth licks and guitars that would be right at home in the original ‘Top Gun’ movie.
