Boil the macaroni in salted water for almost 5-7 minutes 2. While the pasta cooks, in a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the flour and stir until smooth and cook for about 1 minute, until bubbling. 3. Add milk into three batches to avoid lumps. Gradually stir in milk, until the mixture is smooth. 4. Add salt, sugar, and black pepper and drained pasta into the sauce and stir to coat. 5. Turn off the heat and add pineapple. 6. Transfer the macaroni into the baking tray and cover it with grated cheese gradually. 7. Cook it in the preheated oven at 350F for 10-15 mins and Broil at high temperature for 2-3 mins until it turns golden brown and bubbly. 8. Serve hot.
