After graduating in Mass Media and Journalism, worked as a script consultant at Phantom Films. Director & producer of Roots, a documentary film about the dying visibility of Indian Classical Music. Co-producer of Interior Café Nights, a short web film starring Naseeruddin Shah, and herself. Currently working as a lead actress in the hit historical TV series- Chandra Nandini, she also writes a weekly column for Indian Express.
