| Video Discription | This 6-feet, 10-inch tall Texan teen has her leg in the door and her name in the book. Maci Currin, 17, comes from a tall family — but her legs are off the charts. The still-growing teen's right leg measures 53.255 inches, and her slightly shorter left comes in at 52.874 inches, breaking two world records between them: She's now walking into the Guinness World Records book for the titles of longest female legs and longest teenage legs. She stands significantly taller than her 6-foot, 5-inch-tall father and 5-foot, 7-inch-tall mother, with her legs making up 60% of her height. Living a life up in the clouds thanks to her lengthy limbs isn't always a dream, though: "I hit my head on a lot of stuff. Cars are really difficult," she told Newsflare. Clothing is also a constant issue. "Pants and leggings, I have to get them custom-made," said Currin. Special occasions are an added challenge. "You’ve got to really plan ahead," explained her mother, Trish, adding that her daughter has to deal with constant staring. While growing up in the Austin suburb of Cedar Park, Currin had to deal with bullying. "I was bullied because I was taller than everyone," she said. "I guess they didn’t know how to process that." While her small-minded schoolmates never grew up, she quickly learned to grow a thick skin. "Around sophomore year, I just stopped caring what people thought of me. And when I stopped caring, I wasn’t affected by anything," she said. She hopes her record titles will bring confidence to other tall women, and encourage them to value being lanky. "I hope tall women can see height is a gift.
