Try this fantastic and simple chicken roast recipe and enjoy this Thanksgiving with your loved ones. Roast Chicken Ingredients 1 whole chicken (skinless) For the marination 2 tbsp butter 3 tbsp dahi 2 tsp chilli powder 2 tsp tandoori masala 2 tsp chaat masala ½ tsp turmeric powder 3 tsp salt 4 tbsp mustard oil For the filling 2 tbsp oil ¼ cup chopped onions 1 tbsp chopped garlic ½ cup chopped carrots 1 tsp chilli powder 1 tsp garam masala 2 chopped boiled eggs ½ cup green peas ½ cup cubed potatoes ¼ cup red peppers ¼ cup yellow peppers ½ cup corn Salt to taste ½ tsp crushed balck pepper 1 tbsp chopped coriander Method: Take all the ingredients for the marination in a bowl & mix well Clean & paat dry the chicken, then apply the marinade generously all across the surface. Massage gently till the entire surface & belly cavity is covered with the marination. Let the chicken marinade in the fridge for 1 hr While that happens make the filling, heat oil in a pan & saute the onions, garlic & carrots. Saute for 2-3 mins & then add the peppers, season with salt & pepper & fry for 2-3 mins. Now add the corn & potatoes & fry till the potatoes start to brown. Add the spices & keep cooking for 2-3 mins. Finally add the paras & coriander & cook for another 2 mins on high heat. Adjust the seasoning & remove off the heat. Boring the chicken back to the tab le & add the filling in the cavity. Tress the chicken & place in a roasting pan. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 1 ½ hour.
