| Video Discription | Here's something REALLY obscure I found. It's a Golden Book Video from 1986: "Aesop's Fables of Patience & Honesty." It's actually a Japanese anime that is hosted by three monkeys. It was simply titled "Aesop's Fables" and produced by Nippon Animation (the same Japanese studio that also did "Around the World with Willy Fog" and the "My Favorite Fairy Tales" anime.) I also have reason to believe that Golden Book Video actually dubbed this anime themselves, since I saw some of their usual crew members listed in the end credits. Anyways, this story is of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf." This familiar tale is retold with lively humor. Children will see how a young boy disrupts and entire community with his tricks. He pays the consequences of crying wolf too many times when a wolf finally does appear. Moral: NO ONE CAN BELIEVE A LIAR, EVEN WHEN HE IS TELLING THE TRUTH.
