| Video Discription | Promotional Reel explaining The WB 100+ Stations Group shortly after its launch on September 21,1998 shown to cable providers in low market areas during the 1998-1999 season. Prior to the launch of The WB 100+ Stations Group (originally known as The WeB until March 1999) Cable providers got The WB programming from the national feed of WGN which carried the WB Affiliation nationally on its superstation feed outside of Chicago from January 11,1995 until October 7,1999. Shortly after the launch of The WB 100+ Stations Group, many cable providers still carried the national superstation feed of WGN (known as WGN Entertaining America at the time). At the time of the launch of the WB 100+ Stations Group, The WB had hit shows that season like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dawson’s Creek, 7th Heaven and new shows like Charmed, Hyperion Bay and The WB 100+ Stations Group carried syndicated shows like Friends, ER etc. The WB 100+ Stations Group would be succeeded by The CW Plus on September 18,2006 shortly after The WB and UPN merged to become what is known now as The CW.
