Take in the sounds and sights of a bygone era as our locomotives tackle Melbourne's steepest railway line, featuring the 1 in 30 Jordanville Bank. Take a seat in our heritage carriages with beautiful wood veneer panelling, pressed tin ceilings and opening windows to fully experience the steam era. Tickets are still available for our transfer trains from Newport or Flinders Street to Glen Waverley in the morning or Glen Waverley to Flinders Street or Newport in the evening. Only limited tickets remain for our Steam Shuttles departing Glen Waverley Station. Tickets are available from our website www.steamrail.com.au/tours. The timetable for the train can be found below. Please note: It is imperative that if you choose to see the train from a passenger platform, ensure you remain behind the yellow line at all times and if viewing the train line-side, ensure you do not enter the railway corridor or trespass at any time and remain well clear from the edge of any railway track.
