| Video Discription | Vash the Stampede's portrayal in the new "Trigun" adaptation, although similar from various aspect to the old anime, is also quite different at the same time. The story is set earlier compared to the 1998 adaptation, so this different setting allowed the new anime to change some elements of the character, but in the perspective to properly adapt the manga in the upcoming seasons. What I like about the new musical theme of Vash is the variety of instruments used for it: in fact, it contains both western elements (like blues harp and whistling) and modern elements (like synthetic sounds, jazz and rap), and combined together they craft a fresh and energetic style that suites perfectly the main action scenes. Still, Vash's theme is played mostly in a slower and sadder note, mostly executed with violins and piano, showing Vash's struggle to save and protect those he cares for. I hope this theme will be reprised in the future seasons, because it's quite cool and unique for this new version of Vash the Stampede!
