The three candidates are Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi from Botswana, Specioza Kazibwe of Uganda and Agapito Mba Mokuy of Equatorial Guinea. Venson-Moitoi and Mokuy are currently foreign ministers in their countries, while Kazibwe is a former vice president of Uganda.
