| Video Discription | The Maharashtra police alongwith internal security agencies have begun a re-investigation into the murder of pharmacist Umesh Kolhe in the wake of Kanhaiya Lal's gruesome killing in Udaipur. Umesh Kolhe, was hacked to death by 3 men when he was enroute home on June 21 in Maharashtra's Amravati district. The local police termed the crime a robbery. But sources tell HT, that Maharashtra police are now probing the hate crime angle to it. Kolhe had, weeks before, expressed his support for suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma whose comments on Prophet Mohammad have caused strife across the country. They add that a preliminary examination of the seized electronic devices of the attackers reveal that they (the attackers) may have been radicalized.
