With this arrangement especially, I wanted to tell more of a story of the emotions that Asgore and Frisk would have felt during the final confrontation - the end of Frisk's journey, Asgore's attempted denial of his own wrongdoings, and the acceptance that there can be no end to the war without one of them defeating the other.
