Common side effect is usually pain, redness and swelling in the area of injection mostly seen in injections that babies receive during 1-3 months, the vaccines are diphtheria, whooping cough and tidiness. However these swellings reduce in 2 days of time. Another thing is fever which baby may get high temperature around 104 usually in first 2 days. Some other serious and very rare usually 1 in 1 million kid's side effects we see are conversions and nonstop crying for about 3-4 hours and weaknesses of limbs. Some babies have allergies to some of the vaccines and this is not due to vaccine contents but usually due to preservatives which are used in the vaccines, this may be manifested as some allergic reactions in the body, rashes, difficulty in feeding, difficulty in breathing, swelling in the throat and some of them may have low BP.
