Now, on Wednesday evening, the major city of Murcia on the Iberian Peninsula was hit hard. A helicopter had to rescue a person trapped in a car. Additionally, a woman and her daughter had to be rescued from their vehicle by the fire department. Within an hour, 50.8 liters of rain fell, with 32.8 liters of it falling in just 20 minutes, according to the state weather service (AEMET).
