And patient has hyperinsulinemia and the patient is on metformin. So we cannot put the patient on metformin lifelong. So the lifelong treatment for Polycystic ovarian disease is diet and exercise. BMI has to be maintained between 18 to 25. BMI is weight in kgs, to height in meter square. So it has to be maintained. So the girl has to be counseled with diet and exercise. So do one to one and a half hours exercise daily and like gymming, aerobics and swimming, walking, jumping, and climbing. So the mode of exercise the girl has to take high protein diet like egg white, milk products, all types of dals, sprouts, pulses, non-veg pieces. No gravies, almonds, acrot has high proteins.
