Located 6km from the capital Kathmandu, Kirtipur is a city apart, a village atmosphere, full of culture, history and traditions of the Newar community. For this new walk in the Kathmandu valley, I had the chance to immerse myself in the atmosphere of the glory city. I walked through its narrow streets, observed its beautiful traditional houses, its Buddhist and Hindu temples. I could eat the succulent newari food with some Chyang aswell ! During my walk, I was even able to participate in the sorting of rice which is done at this time of year.
