This is a 90-year-old patient who has acute kidney injury and prostate cancer and multiple organs are failing at the same time, but he’s coming towards recovery for this process. His wife tells me, “Do you really think he’s recovering. Is what you are doing what you would do for your own family?” I said, “Yes, what I’m doing for him is what I would do for my own family.” Patients understand you well, and it’s a very respected career for women.
