The WordPress tools listed in the Tools menu are: Available Tools, WordPress Import and WordPress Export. Let's go through them one by one. The Available Tools lists two tools that are present as part of the WordPress default installation. First, the Press This tool which helps you curate content that you find around the web. The second tool is the categories and tags converter used to convert categories to tags or covert tags to categories. In the WordPress Import section you can import data from various other blogging platforms (including other WordPress sites and even RSS feeds). For most of these import options you will need to install an importer plugin. This is where you can export your WordPress data and then use that export file to import data into another WordPress site.
