Monero seems to have better privacy features than Bitcoin, but Bitcoin/Monero atomic swaps ensure that there is no reason to ever store your wealth in Monero. Monero is more like a utility token that can be used for privacy and then swapped back out of. While Monero is a really interesting project, I have my doubts that the token will ultimately be as useful or that it will accrue as much value as Bitcoin.
