| Video Discription | Growing up near Barksdale AFB home of the B52, we were mindful of the history of military aircraft. We recently lost a bit of that history... Janis and I wish to express our; condolences, thoughts and prayers to the families and friends of lives lost during the recent tragedy of the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress; "nine-0-nine”. Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of — wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence.
