| Video Discription | Cheesecake with ricotta cheese anyone?! This ricotta cheesecake is my go-to cheesecake and exactly how I like it to be. It's absolutely delicious and tastes really fresh. I use the "fine" ricotta cheese so that the texture is smooth. In the supermarkets here, either fine or coarse ricotta cheeses are available. You can serve this even a day after baking when all the flavors have sunk in. Enjoy! Benjar INGREDIENTS ► 200 g Shortbread biscuits ► 100 g Melted butter ► 250 g Ricotta cheese ► 200 mil Cooking cream ► 150 g of Sugar ► 3 large Eggs ► Zest of half a lemon (only half!) ► 8 g (1 pack) of Vanilla sugar ► 50 g All-purpose flour ► Icing sugar to top ► Marmalade or any jam you like (optional) ❗️❗️❗️ I baked mine at 180°C / 356°F for 50 minutes. After 50 minutes, with the oven turned off, I left it there for another 20 minutes. Also, let it cool about an hour before serving.
