| Video Discription | Helmed by the 2nd generation owner, Mr Ng Chow Gee took over the baton from his father who set up the stall at the former China Street since 1946. Keeping his father's recipe alive, Mr Ng's braised duck and offals boast a nostalgic, old-school taste. Taking much pride in his dishes, he cleans the ducks thoroughly before braising. Spices are stuffed inside the ducks to get flavours soaked in the meat when braised. The result is tender, succulent duck meat which is perfect when paired with yam rice. But the stall has much more. Kway Chap is another signature of the stall. It comes with braised assortment of pig offal, pork belly, tofu, Tau Pok and egg. Coupled with a decent bowl of soupy rice noodle with light herbal note, the Kway Chap certainly makes a satisfying meal.
