Two years ago, Yong Sheng was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. Despite trying medication and counselling, he still found it hard to deal with the stresses of daily life. That was until his counsellor recommended him to join SAMH SAY-IT!, a community-based Youth-Integrated Team, which supports youths with mental health needs. Through taking part in the various activities, Yong Sheng has made new friends and is now in a better place. He even volunteers with SAMH SAY-IT! now to help fellow youths.
