(Suddenly a memory trip lol) The first time I ate pretzels was at a university friend's part-time job place when I was in high school. The place where she worked part-time was ‘Auntie Anne's Pretzels’, which had just opened in Korea at the time. My friend asked me to visit, and I have had original, sweet almond and cinnamon, salty garlic flavor and lemonade... It was so delicious. After that, I used to buy it when I was passing by that pretzels shop. I made this recipe as easily as possible without kneading, and with the moderately heavy and chewy texture that I want. Of course, I made it like Auntie Anne's style, but I think it can be said that mine is less oily. Everyone~! I really enjoy making pretzels. I hope you all enjoy that enjoyable time as well. Be happy~ 🥰 _ by Kkuume ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🎵 Oven * Bake in 220~230℃ / 450℉ preheated oven for about 8~12 mins (If your oven's heat is quite strong, bake it 220℃, otherwise I recommend 230℃) 🎵 Ingredients | 6ea ▷ milk 100g ▷ water 100g ▷ instant dry yeast 5g (1+1/2tsp) ▷ brown sugar or white sugar 35g (2+2/3Tbsp) ▷ salt 5g (1tsp) ▷ melted butter 25g ▷ bread flour 150g ▷ all purpose flour 150g ▷ baking soda 50g ▷ hot water 500g ▷ melted butter for coating 30g ✨ Original flavor ▷ coarser salt Baking soda bath 👉 Sprinkle coarser salt on the surface 👉 Bake 👉 Apply melted butter ✨ Almond flavor ▷ almond 70g + white sugar 50g (The quantity is enough to make 6, so adjust accordingly.) Baking soda bath 👉 Apply front and back with almond toppings 👉 Bake 👉 Apply melted butter ✨ Cinnamon flavor ▷ cinnamon powder 2g(1tsp) + white sugar 65g (The quantity is enough to make 6, so adjust accordingly.)
