Chef - Chef Nehal Karkera Prep Time: 5 minutes Cuisine : Dessert Serves : 4 Ingredients: For the rabdi 450 ml milk ½ condensed milk Pinch of saffron 1 tbsp mawa ½ tsp cardamom powder 2 tsp chopped dry fruits For the bread 8 slices bread (cut into triangles) ¼ cup butter Saffron sugar syrup Other ingredients 1 tsp dry fruits (chopped) Method: 1. In a pan boil milk, add the condensed milk, saffron, mawa, cardamom powder & dry fruits, reduce the milk to almost half. 2. Once reduced chill the rabdi for use later 3. For the bread, heat butter/ghee in a pan and fry the bread slices till golden brown on both sides, at the same time make the saffron syrup by boiling 1 cup of sugar & 1 cup of water with a pinch of saffron, boil till slightly thick. 4. Soak the bread for a few seconds in a saffron sugar syrup. 5. For plating, pour rabdi over the base , place the bread slices on top & pour more rabdi over the bread slices 6.
